The MAH CET Counselling Process or Centralised Admission Process (CAP) is likely to begin in June. Last year, the CET CAP started in October as the exam was conducted in August. So, it can be expected that CET 2023 will be held June.

The MBA CET 2023 result will be released as percentile. In MAH CET MBA/MMS, the percentile score will be the Normalised Score (instead of the raw marks scored across all sessions). The MAH MBA CET Percentile Scores will be calculated up to seven decimal places. The formula for Percentile score calculation is:

100 x (No. of candidates in a session with raw score ≤  the candidate’s score)

MAH MBA CET 2023 result can be expected by second week of April 2023. The result cum scorecard will be released at Maharashtra State CET Cell website candidates will be able to download their MAH MBA CET 2023 scorecard by using their application number and password.

The next event after MAH MBA CET 2023 exam is result announcement. Candidates who have appeared for the exam can expect their result within 15 days. After MAH CET 2023 result announcement, the Maharashtra State CET Cell will conduct the Counselling process for seat allotment.

Like previous three sessions, the sectional weightage was expected to be the same in the last session of MAH MBA CET 2023. Maximum questions were from Logical Reasoning. Take a look:

The difficulty level of MAH MBA CET 2023, Day 2, Session 2 paper was similar to rest of the sessions, i.e. easy. The Logical Reasoning section had maximum questions and were easy to moderate difficulty level. Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability sections were easy.

The second session of MAH MBA CET 2023, Day 2 is now over. Some candidates who appeared for the test said that the paper was moderate and doable in the given time limit. Detailed analysis will of the paper is awaited.

MAH MBA CET 2023 Day 2, Session 2 will get over at 4:30 PM. With the session 2 getting over, this year’s MBA CET will conclude. The next step in the process of MBA admission after the CET exam is Centralised Admission Process which will be held most likely in June.

About 350 colleges and institutes accept MAH CET score for MBA/MMS courses. These colleges are affiliated to UGC and recognised the State government. MAH MBA CET participating colleges include:

2. University Departments of Management Education
3. University Managed Management Education Institutes
4. All Un-Aided Management Education Institutes covered as per the Act

It is unlikely that the cut offs will rise this year as the examination was of the same difficulty level as last year. The JBIMS cut off was 99.98 in 2022 and 99.97 in 2021. Thus, one can expect not much change in MAH MBA CET cut offs this year.

The official answer key of MAH MBA CET is not released. The examination body, release the result directly after the exam. Coaching institutes release unofficial and memory based answer keys for their students to tally their answers and calculate number of correct attempts.

MAH MBA CET 2023, Session 2 od Day 2 has started at designated 184 examination centres across Maharashtra and 11 centres in other states. On Day 1, there were reports of technical glitches at a few centres where the exam started an hour late. Today, it is unlikely that such an issue will come up at any centre as the exam conducting body have taken care. 

The MAH MBA CET 2023 Day 2, Session 2, will commence at 2:00 PM. Candidates have been given the entry and the gates ae closed now. Candidates will log in to their computer systems at 1:50 PM the test will start after 10 minutes. Exactly 2.5 hours will be given for solving the paper.

The MAH CET exam does not have sectional time limit so it is easy to score higher in this exam. Even though the sectional weightage is irregular, it is easy to manage 2.5 hours of the test. Candidates can easily target easy questions from across the section in one go and then move to tougher questions, without worrying about sectional time limit.

The MAH MBA CET 2023, Day 2, Session 2 will commence at 2:00 PM. Test centres gates will be reopened for entry of session 2 students at 12:30 PM. Candidates must ensure they are carrying all the relevant documents and items for the exam.

The MAH MBA CET 2023 session 1 of Day 2 was easy and the structure of the question paper was similar to Day 1. However, there was slight change in the section wise number of question. Sectional break up of Day 2, Session 1 of MAH MBA CET 2023 is given below:

• Logical Reasoning: 40
• Abstract Reasoning:25
• Quantitative Aptitude: 83
• Verbal Ability: 52

The first session of Day 2 of MAH MBA CET 2023 got over at 11:30 AM. Second session will start at 2:00 PM for which the entry will begin from 12:30 PM. Candidates who have been allotted second session, will have to be present at their exam centres by 12:30 PM.

To score about 99 percentile in MBA CET, candidates need to get nearly 160-165 questions correct. Since there is no negative marking in MAH CET MBA/MMS, it is easier to score on the basis of correct attempts.

If the Day 2 exam of MAH MBA CET 2023 follows the same sectional composition, the VARC section of Day 2 will have two RC passages having 10-14 questions and rest of the questions will be from Verbal Ability topics. In total, there will be about 50-55 questions.

The Abstract Reasoning section of MAH MBA CET 2023, Day 2 will have questions from Analogies, Series, Odd Man Out. There will not be more than 25 questions in Abstract Reasoning.

On Day 2, the Quantitative Aptitude section of MAH MBA CET 2023 is expected to have around 44-46 questions. The maximum questions can be expected from Arithmetic. There can be 2 easy Data Interpretation sets.

Logical Reasoning questions can be asked from Arrangements, Family Tree, Coding Decoding, Directions, Clocks & Calendars, Groups & Conditionalities, Number Series, etc. The same topics appeared in both session of Day 1.

• Candidates must sit at the desk and computer system allotted to them.
• Five options will be given to choose one option as the answer.
• They need to enter their option on the screen with the help of computer mask.
• Candidates must login to their computer system only after the announcement by the invigilator.
• Sheets will be given to candidates for rough work. Candidates must submit those sheets before leaving.

MAH MBA CET 2023 Day 2, Session 1 has started at designated exam centres in Maharashtra and 11 other cities in other states. The exam will get over at 11:30 AM. There will be no break in between. Candidates will be able to leave the test lab only after 150 minutes are over and instructions for exit has been announced. 

Candidates have to carry the following items to the examination centre:

• Blue/black ball point pen
• Facemask
• Hand gloves
• Hand sanitiser in transparent bottle
• Drinking water in a transparent bottle
• Fruits if a candidate is diabetic candidates

Candidates have to carry the following documents to the examination centre:

• Two copies of the MAH MBA CET 2023 admit card
• Passport size photo, valid photo ID,
• COVID-19 self declaration (duly filled).
• PwD certificate and scribe certificate to t exam centre (if applicable)

On Day 2 of the MAH MBA CET 2023 too the difficulty level of exam will be easy. Candidates must not make the mistake of assuming that the exam is for 180 minutes, even if the screen timer indicates so. They should target solving the paper in 150 minutes only.

The first session of MAH MBA CET 2023 exam on Day 2 will begin at 9:00 am. The exam duration will be 2.5 hours or 150 minutes. The exam will end on 11:30 AM.

The examination timings, structure and guidelines for day 2 remains the same as day 1. The exam will have 200 MCQs. These 200 questions will be divided among Logical Reasoning, Abstract Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude and Verbal Ability.

MAH MBA CET 2023 exam, Day 2 will have 2 sessions. It is expected that the question papers of Day 2 of MAH CET 2023 exam will be on the same lines are question papers of Day 1. To calculate the Percentile Score, the marks obtained by every candidate is transformed into a scale ranging from 100 to 0.

The method applied is Equipercentile Method. The percentile score will be calculated up to 7 decimal places to avoid bunching effect and reduce ties.

Since MBA CET 2023 is being conducted in multiple sessions, the examination authority will apply normalisation score formula. The MBA CET 2023 scores of candidates across all four sessions will be normalized to ensure that none of the candidate’s gets an advantage or disadvantage due to varied difficulty levels of the question papers.

The formula for Percentile score calculation is:

100 x (No. of candidates in a session with raw score ≤  the candidate’s score)

The difficulty level of MAH MBA CET 2023 Session 2 of Day 1 was similar to Session 1. The question paper was overall easy. Section wise difficulty level is as follows:

Logical Reasoning: Easy to Moderate

Abstract Reasoning: Easy

Quantitative Aptitude: Easy

VARC: Easy

The MAH MBA CET 2023 session 2 was on the same lines as session 1. The difficulty level was also easy.  Similar to session 1, the session 2 question paper had 200 questions from AR, LR, QA and VARC. The questions appeared in section wise sequence.

MAH MBA CET 2023 Day 1 session 2 got over ar 4:30 PM. Now the next two sessions will be held tomorrow. Overall analysis of MAH MBA CET 2023 Day 1 session 2 and expected cut offs are awaited. 

MAH MBA CET 2023 session 2 of Day 1 is underway at 184 test centres across Maharashtra and 11 other cities. The exam will get over at 4:30 PM. The second session is expected to easy with maximum questions on Logical Reasoning.

There were 74 questions on Logical Reasoning and 25 questions on Visual/Abstract Reasoning. In Non-Verbal Reasoning, there were questions on Arrangements, Family Tree, Venn Diagram, Coding Decoding, Directions, Number Series, Groups & Conditionalities etc. In Verbal Reasoning, there were questions on Syllogisms, odd word out of the given words and analogies. 

There were about 36 questions on Quantitative Aptitude in slot 1 of Day 1 of MAH MBA CET 2023. There were two sets of Data Interpretation with a total number of 10 questions on Data Interpretation. There were no Data Sufficiency questions this year. Overall, this section was easy. In the second session too, this section is expected to be easy. 

VARC section of MAH MBA CET 2023 paper 1 consisted of 55 questions with 14 Reading Comprehension questions and 41 Verbal AbilityA questions. 
There were two Reading Comprehension passages. The passage on Education and Culture had 5 questions and the passage on Obsession with Power in Modern Society had 9 questions. 

The difficulty level of session 2 of Day 1 of MAH MBA CET 2023 is expected to be moderate. Although MAH CET is an unpredictable exam, its difficulty level remains more or less the same across all exam sessions of the given year.

The structure of session 2 of MAH MBA CET 2023 exam will be like that of session 1. There will be 200 questions from LR, AR, QA and VARC. There will be no order of these sections but the questions will be clubbed together in a series.

The second session of MAH MBA CET 2023, Day 1 has started at test centres. The second session will end at 4:30 PM. Data of number of candidates who appeared on Day 1 of the MBA/MMS exam will be released at the time of result declaration.

In the first session of MAH MBA CET 2023, the onscreen timer was showing 180 minutes but the actual time was 150 minutes only. Many students faced difficulty due to this confusion. They assumed the exam is for 180 minutes and were solving paper accordingly. So, candidates of session 2 should keep in mind that the time limit is 150 marks only. 

Entry to the MBA CET test centre has been closed for the second shift exam. Candidates who have been allotted second session of MAH MBA CET 2023 have to now be seated at their computer systems. They will be allowed to login at 1:50 PM. The second session of MAH MBA CET 2023 will start at 2:00 PM.

Entry of students at the MAH MBA CET exam centres for Day 1, session 2 has commenced. Candidates are being allowed to enter the test centre after identification. Candidates have to show their admit card, self-declaration form, photo ID and other documents (if required). Student entry is allowed latest by 1:30 PM.

12:30 PM is the reporting time for Session 2 of MAH MBA CET 2023, Day 1. Candidates who have been allotted the second slot of the exam have reached the test centres. Session 2 of MAH MBA CET 2023 will start at 2:00 PM and end at 4:30 PM.

• Paper was moderately difficult. There was no sectional segregation but questions were clubbed together in a series.
• Abstract Reasoning was easy. Had about 10-11 mirror water image questions. Other questions were from series, analogies, etc. In Logical Reasoning there were 5-6 puzzles clubbed together.
•  RCs were challenging, DI had one question on Venn Diagram
• Many students faced difficulty as they assumed the paper was for 180 minutes but could not finish it.

The first session of MAH CET 2023 exam got over at 11:30. As per the initial reviews of the session, the overall difficulty level of the MBA/MMS paper was moderate. MAH CET 2023 question paper for MBA/MMS has a total of 200 questions. The sectional break up is expected to be as follows:

• Logical Reasoning: 75 questions

MAH MBA CET is one of the few MBA entrance exams which does not have negative marking:

MAH MBA CET doesn’t have sectional time limit as the questions are not clubbed section wise. Thus, candidates need not worry about completing a particular section in a certain duration. They can utilised 2.5 hours or 150 minutes as per their strengths and weaknesses.

MAH CET MBA/MMS question paper will have 200 question from VARC, Logical Reasoning, Analytical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. Candidates cannot answer all 200 questions in 150 minutes. So, candidates must choose the questions carefully, in the first one and a half hour, they should target all the easy questions and then move to tough ones.

Last year, the MAH MBA CET exam was conducted in August and the result was announced in September. The MAH CAT counselling was done from October to November. This year, the exam is being conducted on time so that the academic session can start by July end. 

About 50, 000 to 70,000 MBA aspirants register for MAH CET exam every year. Most of the test takers belong to Maharashtra state as domicile candidates are given preference over other candidates. Since MAH CET is a state level exam, domicile candidates are allotted seat in a category separate from All India category.

MAH MBA CET 2023 is similar to other MBA entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, SNAP. The only difference between these exam and MAH CET is that MAH MBA CET score is valid for admission to Mahasrashtra colleges only.

MAH CET exam is conducted by Maharashtra CET for admission to over 300 management institutes in Maharashtra state. The exam score is accepted for admission to MBA/MMS courses offered by these colleges. 

Maharashtra CET or MAH CET 2023 for MBA/MMS will be conducted pn March 25 and 26 at various exam centres in several cities of Maharashtra and a few cities outside the state. The duration of exam is 2.5 hours without break.
