MAT 2024 exam for May phase is being held today in CBT mode. Candidates who are appearing for the exam today, must keep in mind important guidelines to follow at the examination centre. The MAT CBT is held at designated examination centres., details of which is mentioned in the admit card. Candidates must reach their MAT exam centre as per the reporting time mentioned in their MAT admit card. MAT 2024 May CBT Today: Important Tips and Guidelines
- MAT exam duration is 2 hours and there is no sectional time limit so candidates must keep a check on the timer so as to not overspend on one section.
- There will be 150 questions in total, but candidates don’t have to attempt all of them. Try to attempt only 2/3rd of it.
- MAT exam paper will have 5 sections, solve a good number of questions in all section for a good overall score.
- The score of Indian and Global Environment section is not taken into consideration for MAT percentile calculation, so don’t spend too much time on it.
- There is negative marking in MAT, so don’t do guess work. Solve only those questions that you are sure of solving accurately.
- On-screen calculator will be there, but try to do mental calculation to save time. But if your mental calculation is not strong, don’t do this.
- Don’t look in to other candidate’s computer before, during or after the exam. You may be disqualified for that.
- Complete the MAT test in the given time limit and wait for the announcement for exit.
- Leave the rough sheet given to you for calculation in the examination hall (as instructed by the invigilator).
