The Management Development Institute (MDI) Gurgaon has officially opened applications for its prestigious Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) for the academic session 2025. The Fellow Programme in Management at MDI is designed for individuals aiming to contribute to the management field through research and academic excellence. The programme is offered in two tracks: Residential and Non-Residential, providing flexibility to participants in their mode of study.

This programme is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and deemed equivalent to a PhD by the Association of Indian Universities* (Renewal in process). As part of the selection process, applicants must submit valid scores from approved entrance exams such as CAT, GMAT, GATE, GRE, or UGC-JRF.

Selected candidates will be invited for interviews in April or May 2025, which may be conducted either online or offline. Additionally, alumni of MDI, IIMs, XLRI, and FMS who have completed a full-time two-year Post Graduate Programme (PGP) may be exempted from submitting test scores.

MDI Gurgaon Admission 2025 Eligibility Criteria for FPM

MDI Gurgaon has outlined clear eligibility requirements for candidates interested in applying for the FPM programme. The following academic qualifications are accepted:

• A master’s degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks (first division) or an equivalent grade point average, recognized by AICTE or AIU, along with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification after completing higher secondary schooling (Classes 10+2).
• A five-year integrated master’s degree in any field with at least 60% marks (first division) secured after completing higher secondary schooling.
• Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent CGPA, along with a master’s degree with 60% marks (first division), are also eligible to apply.
• Alternatively, candidates with professional qualifications such as CA, ICWA, or CS with at least 60% marks or equivalent GPA are eligible.

The maximum age limit for applicants is 50 years.

Specific Requirements for Residential and Non-Residential Tracks

• Non-Residential Track: Candidates applying for the non-residential track must be at least 35 years old and should have at least 10 years of managerial experience (preferably at a senior level) as of the application deadline.
• Residential Track: Candidates in the final year of their master’s programme are also eligible to apply, provided they complete all degree requirements by June 30, 2025, and submit the necessary certificates by September 30, 2025.
