In response to concerns and misunderstandings that arose from this situation, MDI has decided to guarantee admission offers for the 2025-27 batch to all affected candidates.
MDI Gurgaon has released an official statement addressing recent concerns regarding the admissions for the PGDM IB program. The Institute reaffirms its commitment to its students and emphasizes that their interests are of paramount importance.
As per a release issued by the institute, recent communication from MDI informed some candidates, who had previously received provisional admission offers for the 2024-26 PGDM programs (including PGDM, PGDM-HRM, PGDM-IB, and PGDM-Business Analytics), that it would not be possible to accommodate them in the current batch. This decision was based on a significantly lower dropout rate this year compared to previous years.
In response to concerns and misunderstandings that arose from this situation, MDI has decided to guarantee admission offers for the 2025-27 batch to all affected candidates. These students will retain the fee structure of the 2024-26 batch and will not be subject to any fee increases.
Additionally, if any of these students choose not to pursue the program in 2025-27, they will receive a full refund of the Rs 6 lakh caution money.
It has stated that MDI reaffirms its longstanding commitment to creating and nurturing responsible business leaders. For over fifty years, the Institute has enriched the business and policy world and remains dedicated to its vision of empowering the business leaders of tomorrow.
