MNLU Admission 2024

Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) is inviting applications for its various management and other undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The institution's core mission is to provide advanced legal education, conduct society-oriented research in legal studies, and instill the spirit of law among students. Prospective applicants need to pay an application fee of INR 2000/- and follow the prescribed payment procedure as outlined in the application form. The filled application, along with payment proof, must be uploaded online.

MNLU Mumbai Programs

MNLU Mumbai offers a diverse array of programs tailored to meet the demands of a dynamic legal landscape. These include:

  1. B.A., LL. B. (Hons.) Five-Year Integrated Program
  2. Two-Year Full-Time Post Graduate Programme in MBA
  3. One-Year LL.M. Program in Various Specializations:

   - Corporate and Commercial Laws

   - Constitutional & Administrative Law

   - Maritime Law

   - LL.M. (Investment and Securities Laws) in association with National Institute of Security Management (NiSM)

  1. M.A. in Mediation
  2. Ph.D. Programme
  3. PG Diplomas

The university constantly endeavors to expand its offerings and plans to introduce additional programs from the academic year 2023-24.

Eligibility Criteria

Prospective candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:

- Possession of a UGC recognized three-year degree in any discipline or an equivalent examination.

- Minimum of Fifty percent (50%) of marks or its equivalent grade for General / OBC / PWD / NRI / PIO / OCI categories, and 45% of marks or its equivalent grade for SC / ST categories.

- Candidates appearing for qualifying examinations in May/June 2024 are eligible, provided they fulfill the requisite criteria.

- Preference is given to candidates with valid scores in national-level examinations such as CAT / XAT / MAT / ATMA / CMAT / GMAT / MHCET.

- The course is open to learners of all ages and disciplines, with a maximum intake of 50 students per program. However, the university reserves the right to alter seat numbers without prior notice.

Fee Structure

The course fee for MNLU Mumbai stands at INR 5,00,000/, inclusive of admission, tuition, and library fees. However, lodging and boarding charges are not included. The fee is to be paid in four equal installments of INR 1,25,000/- at the beginning of each semester. A refund policy is in place for admissions withdrawn within 10 days of payment, subject to a deduction of INR 2500/.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit of INR 10,000/- is required alongside the admission fee, to be refunded upon completion of the two-year program after necessary deductions, if any.
