TANCET 2025 Notification Released; Exam on March 22
The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2025 notification has been released by Anna University on its official website, tancet.annauniv.edu. This notification provides critical details for candidates aspiring to appear for TANCET 2025 exam. Anna University conducts the TANCET exam for MBA and MCA admissions across colleges in Tamil Nadu. TANCET 2025 exam will be held on March 22 for MBA and MCA courses.
Candidates who wish to appear for the TANCET exam will be able to fill the application form starting January 24. Last date to complete the TANCET 2025 registration is set as February 21.

There is no change in the TANCET registration fee 2025. Candidates beloging to SC/SCA/ST category from Tamil Nadu will have to pay INR 500 to submit the application form. Whereas, other category candidates will have to pay INR 1000 as the TANCET application fee.
The TANCET information brochure outlines eligibility requirements to apply for both MBA and MCA programs. The TANCET exam will be administered offline as an OMR-based test. The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions with equal weightage for each section. Candidates will have 120 minutes to complete the exam. One mark will be awarded for each correct answer, while a negative marking of 1/4 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response.

Besides the TANCET notification, Anna University has released the TANCET 2024 question papers. Candidates appearing for 2025 can refer to the previous year TANCET question paper for preparation.
