TISSNET 2021 Result Postponed to March 25

The Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) Mumbai has further postponed the declaration of the TISSNET 2021 result to March 25. Earlier, TISS had announced that the TISSNET 2021 result would be announced on March 16, which got postponed to March 19. The date has been further postponed to March 25. The announcement was made by the institute on its official website on March 19, when the candidates were waiting for the result to be announced.

The delay in the result indicates that there will be a further delay in the overall admission schedule. The dates for the final selection rounds such as the conduct of TISSMAT and online Personal Interview (OPI) are yet to be announced. These rounds are likely to be conducted by mid-April and the final merit list, or the final selection result will be declared by the first week of May. It is expected that these dates will be released on or after March 25, the date of the TISSNET 2021 result declaration.

Steps to Download TISSNET 2021 Result

Candidates awaiting their result will have to follow the below steps to download the scorecard:

  • Visit the official website of TISS

  • Click on the link indicating TISSNET 2021 Result or visit the login page

  • Enter the login credentials such as email id and password

  • Download the scorecard and take a print out

The TISSNET 2021 scorecard will highlight the sectional and overall score of the exam along with the shortlist status for the final selection rounds. Candidates must start preparing for the TISSMAT and OPI rounds soon in order to convert the shortlist to the final selection.

TISSMAT, which is a test of 45-minutes carrying around 36 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) carrying 50 marks. The areas that will be covered under TISSMAT are ComprehensionManagement Data InterpretationBusiness Awareness and Descriptive Writing.

Candidates will have to complete the admission formalities within the stipulated duration to confirm their seats. It is expected that the academic session will commence in August.
