TISS 2023 First Merit List
Tata Institute of Social Sciences will announce the TISS NET 2023 final results at tiss.edu. Candidates who appeared for the TISS NET exam and Online Assessment rounds held from April 13 to May 06, 2023, will be able to check their final admission status. Authorities will release the TISSNET 2023 first merit list mentioning the name of the shortlisted candidates for the programme applied. Subsequently, the first wait list and second merit list will be announced soon.

How is TISSNET Final Score Computed?

Tie-breaker in TISSNET Final Results
In cases where two or more candidates obtain the same marks and creating the merit list becomes difficult, TISS simplifies the process by bringing in the tie-breaker. This involves a comparison of marks at different levels as mentioned below:
- The marks obtained in the Personal Interview will be compared. If the marks obtained by both the candidates in the PI round are equal, the marks secured in the Pre-Interview Test (PIT) will be taken into account
- If PIT marks are also equal, the entrance score will be compared
- If the scores are equal again, the candidate older in age will be given preference over the younger candidate.
