With only a few days to go for the XAT exam 2024, it is now time to complete the preparation and gear up for the big day. XAT is an exam that has several unique aspects, so it is extremely important that you understand its process thoroughly beforehand.

XLRI conducted XAT mock test for registered candidates earlier in October 2023, which would have given the test takers a preview of the XAT 2024 exam pattern and test structure. Having the prior experience of the exam is very helpful on the exam day as there will be no time wasted in understanding the process.

There is no change in the XAT exam pattern 2024. The number of questions, time limit and sectional break up are the same. Here’s an over view of the XAT 2024 pattern.

XAT Marking Scheme 2024

Candidates must be mindful of the XAT marking scheme as it is quite different from other MBA entrance exam. Check below:

  • +1 mark for correct answer
  • -0.25 marks for incorrect answer
  • -0.10 marks for more than 8 consecutive un-attempted questions
  • No negative marking in GK section
