Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) successfully completed its placement drive Xuberance’20 for the 32nd MBA batch (2018-2020). The management institute witnessed 100 percent placement with 584 students of MBA-BM, HRM and RM programmes. The candidates who appeared for the XIMB placement drive received offers from 199 companies. Considering the placement trend of the institute, during the XIMB Placement 2020, the average salary for MBA BM has gone up to Rs 15.42 LPA, for MBA-HRM has gone up at Rs 12.87 LPA and for MBA-RM has gone up at Rs 7.78 LPA.
XIMB concluded its placement 2020 with maximum salary packages, and a higher average and median salary. A total of 199 recruiters participated in XIMB Xuberance’20. Despite the economic slowdown and increasing competition, the students managed to bag roles from premiere organisations.
Under Xavier University Bhubaneswar (XUB) three key MBA programmes are offered, namely MBA-Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM) at Xavier School of Human Resource Management (XAHR), MBA-Rural Management (MBA-RM) at the Xavier School of Rural Management (XSRM), and MBA-Business Management at its flagship management institute Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB). Students from all the MBA programmes are placed successfully in reputed companies.
XIMB Placement 2020: Highlights
XIMB saw commendable results during Xuberance’20 for the MBA-BM batch of 2018-2020. The highlights of XIMB Placement 2020 are listed below:
- Highest domestic salary offered Rs 26 LPA (in 2019 it was 24.50 LPA)
- Highest international salary offered Rs 58.22 LPA
- Average salary increased from Rs 14.31 LPA (last year) to Rs 15.42 LPA
- Median salary increased from Rs 14.16 LPA last year to Rs 15 LPA
- Total number 365 Students participated in the placement process
- Total number of companies participated is 107
- Total number of new recruiters participated in the placement drive is 55
- Total number of PPO’s received by the students went up to 74 from 47
XIMB Xuberance’20: Last 4 Years Comparison
XIBM witnessed a hundred percent placement during Xuberance’20 with a substantial increase in average, median and highest compensation. As compared to the last four years’ data, the compensation packages have gone up substantially.

XIMB Placements 2020: Top Recruiters
A total number of 107 companies participated in XIMB Placement 2020. With a hundred percent placement result, students bagged offers from top industry recruiters of different sectors like Apollo Munich, PwC, UHG, Hero MotoCorp, Deloitte, Royal Bank of Scotland, Extramarks, Cognizant, Accenture, Godrej & Boyce, ICICI Bank, Amul, GAIL, Tata Steel, Brillio, Times OOH, UltraTech, Capgemini, TASL, PCBL, HSBC IB, Intellect Design, HDFC Bank, Nestle, Wildcraft, Tiger Analytics, Larsen & Toubro, GMR, Tata Steel, Bajaj Allianz, HCL Technologies, Wipro, Maruti Suzuki, Vedanta, Tata Metaliks, IBM, VMware, Godrej, Emami, Titan, Enhance Group, CRISIL, TCS, HSBC Analytics, Mu Sigma among others.
Along 107 recruiters, almost 55 new recruiters participated in XIMB placements 2020. Some of the companies that participated in XIMB placements for the first time are Delhivery, Goldman Sachs, Adani Wilmar, Mahindra & Mahindra, AB InBev, Tolaram Group and others.
XAHR placements 2020
Meanwhile, Xavier University also concluded the Placement 2020 for its MBA-Human Resource Management (MBA-HRM) offered at its Xavier School of Human Resource Management (XAHR) institute. A batch of 118 students participated in the placement drive. The placement session witnessed 100 percent placement with commendable offers from 57 companies. Among the 57 recruiters that offered exceptional roles during XAHR placements 2020, 24 recruiters were new. The placement drive witnessed the highest domestic salary of Rs 22.47 LPA, average salary of Rs 12.87 LPA, and a median salary of Rs 12.09 LPA. Also, during the placement session, 12 students received PPOs from the industry’s big names.
XSRM Placements 2020
Xavier University also completed the Placement 2020 for its MBA-Rural Management (MBA-RM) offered at its Xavier School of Rural Management (XSRM). The highest domestic salary package offered during XSRM placement 2020 is Rs 13.2 LPA. However, the average salary and median salary offered is Rs 7.78 LPA and Rs 7.5 LPA respectively. A batch of 101 students sat for the placement drive where 35 companies participated and made offers.
