The faculty and professors recruitment in the medical college is approved by the Central Medical Commission.

The minister has confirmed that the Punjab government released Rs 40 crore each for the medical colleges of Kapurthala and Hoshiarpur during the budget 2021-22 and a detailed project report has been submitted to the central government in this regard.
