AACCC conducts first meeting for AYUSH 2022 counselling

Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee has conducted its first meeting for the upcoming AYUSH 2022 counselling for admission to BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses.

Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) has conducted its first meeting for the AYUSH 2022 counselling for 15% of All India quota seats in government, central universities, and private colleges. 

Ministry of Ayush tweeted, "In view of the upcoming Centralized Counseling for admission to All India Quota - UG & PG seats of Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani & Homoeopathy (ASU&H) courses for the A.Y. 2022-23, Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC) conducted its first meeting on 28 September 2022."

"Dr Shashi Ranjan Kumar Vidyarthi, Director of Ayush chaired the meeting in which representatives from National Informatics Centre, Ministry of Ayush, @AIIA_NDelhi, NCISM & NCH were present," said another tweet by the ministry.

There will be three rounds of AYUSH 2022 counselling for admission to BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery), BUMS (Bachelor in Unani Medicine and Surgery), BSMS (Bachelor of Siddha Medicine and Surgery) courses. Registration for counselling for AYUSH courses will begin most likely in the second week of October. The mop-up round of counselling will be conducted for deemed/central universities and private colleges. The total number of seats offered through AYUSH 2022 counselling is 52,720 seats in different courses of Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy.

Ministry of Ayush hiring 'Young Professionals'

The ministry has invited working enthusiasts for the post of 'Young Professionals' on a contract basis. Interested candidates can send in their entries and get a chance to be a part of the Ayush family, said the ministry's official statement. There are a total of 5 posts for which candidates can apply. The tenure of engagement will be for one year initially, which can be extended. The age limit should be below 32 years of age as on July 1, 2022. The monthly salary will be INR 40,000.
