AIIA’s Anandotsav: Kabaad se jugaad, Ayurvedic Dumb Charades impress everyone

During the annual cultural & sports week of All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA) known as Anandotsav, students, scholars, and staff of the college engaged in a much-needed creative initiative in form of Kabaad Se Jugad, which motivated the onlookers to use the waste (kabaad), which is generally thrown in the bins, in a manner so that they can be used in the households over a period of time.

Slogans such as Har Ghar Ayurveda and Ayurvedic Shlokas were enacted by the participants at the event.

While the team of the Accounts office consisting of Mausami Ray, Divya Jha, Khushboo and Saurabh used wax to transform an already dried plant into an eye-catching décor, Dr Ankur Tanwar used the creative bent of his mind to transform waste paper into wall frames. 

A special Dhum Pan Yantra which is used to treat Vatta and Pitta-related diseases was also created by Dr Bhagyashree using waste coffee cups. 

Another unique event that attracted audiences' attention was the Ayurvedic Dum Charades competition which saw participants guessing the ayurvedic terminologies that were enacted by the team members. 

The finale of the annual week-long event is on November 19 in form of a modelling event, a valedictory function including a guest performance. This would be followed by a grand prize distribution ceremony that will be attended by celebrities and VIPs.
