AIIMS Bhopal to hold 3rd Convocation tentatively in second week of February 2024

Last year, during the second Convocation of AIIMS Bhopal, Union minister of state for health and family welfare Dr Bharti Pravin Pawar had conferred degrees to MBBS, M.Sc Nursing, MD/MS, PDCC and DM/MCH students. Read here to know about the upcoming 3rd Convocation.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bhopal has notified that the medical institute will conduct the 3rd Convocation tentatively in second week of February 2024.

"The 03rd Convocation is planned tentatively in the second week of February, 2024. Degree will be conferred to all those who have completed their course including internship as applicable successfully till 31st December, 2023," reads the official notification.

Eligible candidates were asked for prior consent for participation in the Convocation which was mandatory. The Consent was received till January 20, 2024. Those who did not send the consent for third convocation shall be deemed to have opted for having the degree conferred ‘in absentia’, said the official statement. The date of first rehersal shall be announced close to the date of convocation. 

AIIMS Bhopal also released the list of candidates who will receive the degrees during the third convocation, in MBBS course, a total of 115 students will be conferred degrees, B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing 4th year students (2019 Batch) - 61 students, MD/MS ADMISSION IN January 2020 SESSION - 42 students, DM/MCH JANUARY 2020 - 2 students, DM/MCH JULY 2020 - 2 students, Phd Student July 2019 Batch- 1 student, and M.Sc. Nursing students (Batch 2021) - 16 students.
