AIIMS Bhopal to research environmental attributes of human health

All India Institute Of Medical Science (AIIMS) Bhopal has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to increase cooperation & stimulate research in the field of environmental attributes of human health. The MoU was signed by AIIMS and the National Institute of Research in Environmental Health (ICMR-NIREH). The agreement was signed by Dr Ajai Singh, Executive Director & CEO, AIIMS Bhopal and Dr Rajnarayan R Tiwari, Director, ICMR-NIREH Bhopal.
The aim is to focus on increasing collaborative research, exchanging experimental facilities, and conducting joint academic activities in the fields of communicable and non-communicable diseases and the environmental attributes of human health such as air, water, and soil pollution, environmental sanitation, urbanization, climate change and chemical disasters, as reported by Daily Pioneer.
AIIMS Bhopal celebrates Jan Aushadhi day
The medical institute celebrated "Jan Aushadhi" at the campus on March 7, 2023. On the occasion, Governor of Madhya Pradesh Mangubhai C. Patel was the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Executive Director of AIIMS, Bhopal, Prof. . ( Dr.) Ajay Singh said that more than 500 patients are taking benefits of Jan Aushadhi every day in AIIMS.
Also, an MOU was inked between AIIMS and People's University (University), Bhopal to enhance mutual cooperation in academics, students and research.
