AIIMS Bilaspur Faculty Recruitment 2024: Apply for 68 posts by Feb 23

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bilaspur invited applications for faculty posts including Professor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Additional Professor through the official website of AIIMS Bilaspur at aiimsbilaspur.edu.in. 

There are a total of 24 posts of Professor, 14 posts each of Additional Professor, Associate Professor, and 16 posts of Assistant Professor. The application fees for the SC/ST category is INR 1,000 plus 18% GST= INR 1,180/-, for other categories, INR 2,000/ plus and 18% GST= INR 2,360, and the candidates with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from payment of fee.

The online application deadline is February 23, 2024, and the offline application can be sent by February 27, 2024.

"Eligible candidates for the post of Associate or Assistant Professor of the respective category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS) are encouraged to apply even though only higher cadre posts of Additional/Associate Professor are advertised, but the appointment of the downgraded post will be purely contractual. In case of suitable candidate(s) not found for Additional Professor/Associate Professor in a particular department, selection may be made on lower cadre (Associate/Assistant Professor) posts of the same department in the respective category (UR/OBC/SC/ST/EWS)," reads the official notification. 

"However, down-gradation of the post from Additional/Associate

Professor to Associate/Assistant Professor is subject to the discretion of the Standing Selection Committee (SSC). For example, for an advertised post of Additional Professor (OBC), an Associate/ Assistant professor (OBC) may be selected in that department. It is further clarified that downgrading of Additional & Associate Professor posts shall be done and be filled at the level of Assistant Professor on Contract Basis. Applicants who wish to apply against the downgraded post must indicate the same in their application form," added the notification.
