AIIMS commences online registration for Ph.D. programme July 2023; Apply by August 16
The online registration for the Ph.D. programme at AIIMS Delhi started on August 2, 2023, and the last date to apply is August 16, 2023.
All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi invited online applications for Entrance Examination through online (CBT) mode for admission in Ph.D. Programme July 2023 session. The entrance examination will be held on September 2, 2023, between 10 am to 11:30 am. The last date to apply is August 16, 2023.
The application fee for General/OBC Category is INR 2000 + transaction charges as applicable, for SC/ST/EWS Category - IR 1600 + transaction charges as applicable and PWBD candidates are exempted from any fee.
"All applicants are advised to read the Prospectus and Help Manual carefully before starting Online Registration and ensure that no column is left blank. In the event of rejection of the application form, no correspondence/request for reconsideration will be entertained. Applicants are also advised to download and take a print of the Registration Form. They should retain a copy of Registration Form till the completion of Admission Process. Please visit www.aiimsexams.ac.in regularly for latest notification/announcement as well any Addendum/ Dedendum/ Corrigendum/Latest updates etc. regarding this Examination," reads the official notification.
The combined result of Stage-I & stage-II will be available on website of the Examination Section, AIIMS and on website. No individual intimation will be communicated to the candidate.
Admission to Ph.D. Course will be subject to the availability of research funds/fellowship/ grant from recognized funding agencies. After declaration of results, selection letters will be issued by the Academic Section only to those candidates who have submitted Undertaking/Proof of their funding
sources through concerned Head of the Departments.
Selected candidates are required to join as per the date given in his/her provisional offer letter. In case the candidate is not granted an extension for joining and fails to join by the date given to him/her in provisional offer letter, it will be assumed that he/she does not intend to join the course and the seat will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list. No further correspondence will be entertained in this regard.
