AIIMS Nagpur invites applications for faculty posts by November 4

Age and all other qualifications will be counted on the closing date of application.

AIIMS Nagpur invited applications for hiring faculty (Group A) on direct recruitment/deputation/contractual basis in various departments. 

A total of 31 posts are available in various departments including Cardiology, Dermatology, Endocrinology and others.

07 posts (including 6 backlogs) are reserved for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) on horizontal reservation as follows-Professor-(1), Additional Professor-(1), Associate Professor-(2), Assistant Professor-(3). 

"The Executive Director, AIIMS, Nagpur reserves the right to vary the vacancies including reserved vacancies as per the Govt. of India rules/circulars and requirements. The reservation will be followed as per Government of India Rules," reads the official notification.

For the post of Professor and Additional Professor, candidates can apply in any of the following modes of recruitment, if vacancies are available:- direct recruitment, deputation basis, and contract basis (Retired faculty). For Associate Professor, and Assistant Direct Recruitment basis, the candidates can only apply on Direct Recruitment basis.

Application fee for General/OBC/EWS category is INR 2,000/-, for SC/ST category INR 500/- is required to be remitted using the payment link given on the website http://aiimsnagpur.edu.in/recruitmentfront/current_posting. Any other instrument of payment is not acceptable. The Application fee is non-refundable. For, Retired Faculty (applying on contract basis), those applying for the post on Deputation basis and PwD category the application fee is exempted.

Those who are working in Central/State/Government/SemiGovernment/Autonomous Institution must submit a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from the employers at the time of the interview.

The interview will be held in Nagpur only. The list of eligible candidates, date, time & venue for the interview shall be put up on the website. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.
