All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna invited eligible applicants for appointment to the posts of Senior Resident (Non-academic) on an ad-hoc basis for 89 days through ‘Walk-in Interview’ in the various departments.

The required qualification is a postgraduate degree i.e. MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch or equivalent in the above Department recognized by the Medical Council of India/NMC/NBE. The upper age limit for applying for these posts is 45 years. 

The cut-off date to determine eligibility in terms of the age of candidates will be the last date on March 04, 2024. SC/ST/OBC/PWBD candidates who opt to apply for unreserved vacancies will not be eligible for age relaxation or relaxation in cut-off marks which are otherwise allowed to those belonging to these categories.

Further, reserve category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/PWBD) who become eligible by virtue of the age relaxation applicable will be considered only for reserved seats of the category to which they belong even if they have the merit to be considered otherwise for UR. 

Age relaxation is permissible to various applicants under - SC/ST- 5 years, OBC - 3 years, PWBD- 10 years, and Ex-Servicemen Candidate- 5 years.

The application fee for the General/OBC Category is INR 1500, for SC/ST/EWS Category, it is INR 1200, and the ex-servicemen/Women/PwBD candidate is exempted from any fee.
