All AIIMS to get Ayurveda, Homeopathy OPDs Soon
Ayush Ministry to open Ayurveda and Homeopathy OPDs across all AIIMS. Union Minister of State for Ayush Mahendra Munjapara said that the Union Ministry of Ayush has started preparations to open OPD And IPD of Ayurveda and Homeopathy at all hospitals run by the Central government.
While describing the 100-day program being organized for World Yoga Day (June 21), the Union Minister of State for Ayush Mahendra Munjapara said that the demand for Ayurveda treatment is increasing worldwide. He also said that the Union Ministry of Ayush has started preparations to open OPD And IPD of Ayurveda and Homeopathy at all hospitals run by the Central government including All Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS).
He said that the government has decided that in all Central run hospitals along with the allopathy treatment, the patients will be given options for Ayurveda and Homeopathic treatments, as reported by Pgurus.com.
He said that the events under the 100-day program of World Yoga Day are being organized in different states across India and the 50th-day event will be organized in Jaipur on May 5, 2023.
Ministry of Ayush said that it had launched the "Ayush Sanjivani Mobile App" for use of traditional medicine for maintainence of health in India during COVID-19.
The cross-sectional analytical findings of this App were confirmed to have positively impacted a large number of the population in practising Ayush measures and benefitted in terms of general well-being.
