Andhra Pradesh NEET UG 2023 counselling registration process has started on July 20. The last date for application for the Andhra Pradesh NEET 2023 counselling process is July 26, 6 PM. Dr YSR University of Health Sciences (YSRUHS), Vijayawada, the counselling authority for the state will conduct the admission process for MBBS and BDS courses.

Andhra Pradesh NEET UG 2023 counselling registration process has started on July 20. Dr YSR University of Health Sciences (YSRUHS), Vijaywada, the counselling authority for the state has released the application form along with the notification and information brochure for MBBS and BDS admission for the academic year 2023-24. The last date for application for the Andhra Pradesh NEET 2023 counselling process is July 26, 6 PM.

Eligibility Criteria for Andhra Pradesh NEET UG Counselling 2023

The eligibility criteria for Andhra Pradesh NEET 2023 counselling are given below:

  • Candidate must have qualified for NEET 2023

  • The candidate must be a citizen of India. PIO/OCI candidates can also apply for AP NEET 2023 counselling.

  • The candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognised board/institute. Also, the core subjects in this qualifying examination should be Biology, Chemistry, English and Physics.

Local and Non-local candidates

Those who fall under the local candidates' category will apply for the 15 per cent unreserved seats and the 85 per cent reserved seats. In contrast, those under the non-local category can apply for the 15 per cent unreserved seats only.

Local Areas:

  • For admission to the Andhra University: Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, East Godavari, West Godavari, Krishna, Guntur and Prakasam

  • For admission to the Osmania University: Adilabad, Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Karimnagar, Khammam, Mahaboobnagar, Medak, Nalgonda, Nizamabad and Warangal

  • For admission to the Sri Venkateswara University: Anantapur, Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor and Nellore

Local Category:

Candidates who wish to apply for Andhra Pradesh NEET counselling 2023 as local candidates will have to meet the following criteria concerning the local area.

Applicants have studied for a period of four years consecutively in that area: the last year being the year of the qualifying examination,

  1. Applicants must have resided in that area for four consecutive years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the qualifying examination.

  2. Applicants must have resided in that area for four consecutive years immediately preceding the date of commencement of the qualifying examination.

  3. Applicants possess a Local status certificate issued by MRO

The process to apply for Andhra Pradesh NEET 2023 counselling is completely online. The steps to apply or register are given below:

  • Visit the official website of Andhra Pradesh NEET UG counselling 2023 - https://ugcq.ysruhs.com/

  • Click on the Registration link

  • Enter the following details:

    • NEET 2023 roll number

    • NEET 2023 rank

    • Date of birth

    • Mobile number

  • Enter the security code and select 'Validate.'

  • The registration is now complete. Note down the registration number for future reference.

  • Login using NEET 2023 roll number and AP NEET registration number

  • Complete the application form by filling in all the details and uploading the necessary documents

  • Pay the application fee

  • Take a printout of the submitted application form

The counselling authority for Andhra Pradesh had released the list of candidates from the state who have qualified for NEET 2023 in June. The list consists of 42,836 candidates. This can be considered as the rank list. The counselling authority has stated, "The final Merit position will be displayed only after submission of online applications and verification of the same in all aspects as per rules. This is only for information for Students and the Parents and this shall not be considered as the Merit list."
