Assam NEET Counselling 2023 Provisional Merit List Released; Category Change Window Open Till July 7

Directorate of Medical Education Assam has released the provisional merit list for Assam NEET counselling 2023. Candidates can apply for change in category, or to get their names included in the Assam NEET 2023 merit list by July 7 at the DME Assam office.

The provisional merit list for Assam NEET counselling 2023 has been released by the Directorate of Medical Education (DME) Assam. As many as 38,153 candidates have been included under the provisional merit list. The merit list includes information such as candidate name, sex, category, total marks obtained, NEET Rank and state.

DME has also announced that candidates can apply for change in their category. Moreover, if there are candidates from Assam who had appeared for NEET but their names are not there on the merit list, they can apply for the same till July 7.

How to Check Assam NEET 2023 Provisional Merit List

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to download the provisional merit list of Assam NEET 2023 counselling:

• Visit the official website of Assam NEET counselling 2023 – dme.assam.gov.in

• Click on the Documents section and further click on the link ‘Educational Notice-MBBS-BDS Course’

• Click and download the Provisional Assam State Merit List of NEET UG, 2023

• Search and check the presence of your name or roll number

How to Apply for Category Change or Inclusion of Name

DME Assam has stated the procedure to change the candidate category or include their names in the merit list of Assam NEET 2023 counselling. Explaining the process, the State Counselling authority has stated, “Candidates whose name appeared in Provisional Merit List and want to change their category, can now apply in a prescribed format along with the supporting documents to the office of the undersigned (2^nd floor, Room No. 5) on or before July 7, during office hours by hand.”

In order to include their names in the Assam NEET 2023 merit list, candidates will have to write an application in a plain paper with valid documents and submit it to the DME office (2^nd floor, Room No. 5) on or before July 7.

It is further stated that applications sent via post or email will not be accepted. Candidates must collect the receipt of acknowledgement at the time of submission of their forms.

• Parents’/guardian’s name

• NEET 2023 Roll Number

• NEET 2023 Score

• Assam State Rank of NEET 2023

• Category appeared in NEET 2023 Merit List

Assam NEET 2023 counselling process will be conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing and other allied courses. It is expected that DME Assam will announce the registration and other important dates in the second week of July.
