The CENTAC NEET 2024 Counselling Round 3 seat allotment result has been declared on October 21, 2024. The courses for which the seat allotment results have been declared are MBBS, BDS, BAMS and BVSc & AH. The quotas for which the seat allotment result are declared include Government Quota and Management/NRI Quota.

CENTAC Puducherry has stated, “Candidates shall report to the Principal of the allotted college along with all Original Certificates after downloading the allotment orders from 21.10.2024 onwards. The last date for joining is 23.10.2024, 5.00 pm. Admission is strictly subject to the production of all requisite original certificates and completion of admission formalities.

Candidates allotted seat under NRI Quota are advised to approach CENTAC Office at Kamarajar Manimandapam, Puducherry for physical verification of documents once Round 3 Provisional Allotment List is published.”

The registration and choice filling process for this round was conducted from October 9 to October 15, 2024. In case of vacant seats after reporting, further rounds of counselling will be announced by CENTAC Puducherry.

 

Q:   How will the seats be allotted to the candidates during the CENTAC NEET counselling process?

A:

Eligible candidates willing to participate in the CENTAC NEET UG counselling process will have to fill and lock the choice of seats based on the seat matrix. If a candidate fulfills the cutoff or admission criteria of the institute of their choice, they will be allotted the seats. The factors which are considered for the seat allotment are cutoff and availability of seats.

Q:   How many rounds of counselling will be conducted for CENTAC MBBS admissions?

A:

There is no specific number of rounds for the CENTAC MBBS admission process or the CENTAC NEET counselling. In general, there are three to four rounds of counselling conducted by CENTAC. However, in case of vacant seats at a particular course, thecounselling authorities may decide to conduct additional rounds till the time the admission process is completed for each participating colleges. 

Q:   Can students participate in state level and national level NEET counselling process simultaneously?

A:

Yes, candidates can participate in both the national level NEET counselling for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats and the 85 per cent State Quota seats. However, if a candidate has already joined an institute, then he or she will no longer be eligible to participate in other state/national level counselling. Moreover, they will also not be eligible to participate for the next round of NEET state counselling once they join an institute.
