FMGE December 2023 registration starts today 3 pm at nbe.edu.in; Notification Out

FMGE December 2023: The last date to apply for for Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) December 2023 is December 13, 2023, till 11:55 pm. Read here for more details.

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) invited applications for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) in December 2023. The application process started on November 23, 2023, and will continue till December 13, 2023, up to 11:55 pm.

The FMGE 2024 examination will be held on January 20, 2024, on a Computer Based Platform at various test centres across the country. FMGE December 2023 result is expected to be out on February 20, 2024. 

FMGE December 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria the candidates must fulfil: 

• He / She is a citizen of India or Overseas Citizen of India 
• The candidate should possess a primary medical qualification, which is confirmed by the Indian Embassy concerned, to be a recognized qualification for enrolment as a medical practitioner in the country in which the institution awarding the said qualification is situated.
• The result of the final examination for the said primary medical qualification should have been declared on or before October 31, 2023.
• It is mandatory for them to submit proof /documentary evidence that clearly establishes that the result of the final examination for such a primary medical qualification was declared on or before the cut-off date i.e. October 31, 2023. 
• The document submitted must confirm that the candidate has successfully completed all required courses of the primary medical course with eligible results as per the requirement of the institution concerned.

Steps to apply for FMGE December 2023 exam

The candidates must follow these steps:

1. All candidates desirous of applying for the FMGE December 2023 session shall be required to create an online profile of themselves to generate a UserID and Password. 
2. This User ID and Password created will allow the candidate to log in as an applicant for the FMGE December 2023 session and register for an online application. The “Go To Application” link will allow the applicant to continue with the application submission immediately after user creation.
3. The candidate can login using his/her User ID and Password and the application submission process can be completed either in a single sitting or in multiple sittings, as per the candidate's choice, during the application submission window. However, once an application is successfully completed & submitted, it shall be available for editing certain field only during the “edit window”.
