Georgia, Haryana likely collaborate on medical education, sports and more
The Ambassador of Georgia in India has proposed to Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar to collaborate in various fields including medical education, health system, agriculture, sports and pharmaceutical. The ambassador also said that Georgia wants to learn from the initiatives taken by the state.
Georgia and Haryana can collaborate in many fields including medical education, health system, agriculture, sports and pharmaceutical. The Ambassador of Georgia in India, Archil Dzuliashvili called Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and discussed about these fields. Also, he showed interest in the successful implementation of information technology in the government sector and expressed willingness to collaborate with the state in these areas.
“Georgia wants to learn from the initiatives of Haryana on how transparency can be brought in administrative work by the use of IT,” he said, as reported by TOI.
Archil Dzuliashvili said that Georgia wants to learn all these IT aspects from the state and implement them in their country as well where the population is much less than in Haryana. He is also looking for Haryana's cooperation in promoting yoga in the country.
CM Khattar assured cooperation to Georgia
He said that the Foreign Cooperation Department will make a framework on how the state can collaborate with Georgia in these areas.
"The use of IT has helped in bringing transparency in government work, while on the other hand; benefits of government schemes and programmes are being delivered to the actual beneficiaries," said CM Khattar.
He also told the ambassador about the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP), Family ID, and said, “Complete details of all the family members are available in the PPP, which help in identifying the beneficiaries of various government schemes and delivering the benefits to them. For this, the beneficiaries do not need to go to any government office as the benefits are being delivered at their home."
