Q:   What is the cutoff required to qualify for the GPAT exam?

A:

NBEMS will release the GPAT cutoff at the official website. As per the previous year exam analysis and considering that the difficulty level of the exam as easy to moderate, candidates from General category should secure a minimum of 163 marks,  while other backward classes to 131 marks, schedules caste 103 marks, schedule tribe 76 marks, and EWS candidates 104 marks respectively.

Q:   Will GPAT 2024 cutoff be higher than last year?

A:

As compared to last year, the GPAT cutoff depends on the number of test-takers and difficulty level of the exam. Hence, the GPAT 2024 cutoff will be predictive of these two factors that will be known after the conclusion of the GPAT 2024 exam.

Last year, the GPAT exam was moderate difficult, it was found that GPAT cutoff was higher than last year.

Q:   When will the GPAT cutoff be declared?

A:

GPAT 2024 cutoff percentile are released on July 29, 2024. It is released by the authorities category wise.

The cutoff for GPAT exam for the last year was 148 (General category); 122 (EWS category); 120 (OBC category); 94 (SC category); and 75 (ST category).

The GPAT cutoff is a minimum mark that a candidate should score for qualifying for the exam. GPAT cutoff is based on multiple factors such as availability of seats, the difficulty level of the exam, and the total number of candidates who appear and pass in the entrance exam.

Q:   Can I get Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University, MBA with 88% in GPAT?

A:

Although 88% on the GPAT is a good score, entrance to Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University's MBA programme may not be assured with that score alone. Less emphasis is given on GPAT in the MBA programme at DPSRU, which clearly employs the Delhi Pharma Entrance Test (DPET) result.Your application may be strengthened by a high GPAT score, but it won't be the main deciding factor in your selection.

The number of applications, DPET exam difficulty, and available seats are some of the elements that determine the minimum cutoff scores for admission. Should the competition change, an 88% GPAT might be adequate this year, even though it wasn't in past years. Go to the DPSRU website and look for the official MBA cutoff scores from the prior year.

Q:   What is the expected cutoff for GPAT 2024?

A:

The GPAT 2024 cutoff is likely to be around 160, based on last year's data.

Last year, the GPAT cutoff was 148 (General category); 120 (OBC category); 94 (SC category); 75 (ST category); 122 (EWS category). Candidates who appeared for the GPAT exam are shortlisted based on the cut-off marks published by the participating institutes on their individual website. The cutoff will be released by NTA along with the result.
