Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research to recruit Faculties and Senior Residents

Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR) has called applications for Faculty and Senior Residents in HIMSR and its associated HAH Centenary Hospital.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply for Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR) posts of faculty and Senior Residents. The applications must be sent to email id: hr@himsr.co.in on or before July 7, 2022.

There are three vacancies of Professors, one each in the departments of Forensic Medicine, Paediatrics, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. Four openings are for Associate Professors, of which, one each in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Pharmacology department and two more in Radio-Diagnosis department. Three openings are for Assistant Professors with one each in Pharmacology, Respiratory Medicine, and General Medicine. There are 20 posts available for Senior Residents with two openings each in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pharmacology, Anaesthesiology and Microbiology. Four Senior Residents openings are in Biochemistry and 8 vacancies in Emergency Medicine.

Other General Conditions

The notification says, "The Institute reserves the right not to fill-up the vacancies if the circumstances so warrant and to call only short-listed candidates for test/ interview. Candidates called for interview will have to come to the place of interview at their own expenses and bring with them their original research papers, degree, experience and Medical Registration certificates etc. for verification."

Documents needed for recruitment

"Bio-data (highlighting personal details, academic records, teaching and research experience) in prescribed form. Self-attested copies of certificates & testimonials in support of qualification and experience. Candidates are advised to give specific, correct, full information. All original certificates/documents in support of information furnished in the application form are to be produced at the time of verification of documents. Failing which the candidate's candidature is liable to be rejected at any stage of recruitment process or after recruitment or joining, even if any information provided by the candidate is found to be false or is not found in conformity with eligibility criteria mentioned in the advertisement," " added the notification.

Two reference letters are required from distinguished Professors who may have been either reporting or reviewing officer of the applicant (Only for faculty positions).

Moreover, the notification stated that incomplete applications and those received after the closing date will not be entertained. In-complete applications / without signature/ without Photograph/ applications without necessary supporting documents will be rejected.
