Eligibility Criteria for Haryana NEET 2024 Counselling
Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to participate in the Haryana NEET UG counselling.
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Candidates, who are bonafide residents of Haryana as per instructions issued by the Chief Secretary to Govt. Haryana and who/whose parents produce(s) Haryana Residence Certificate as per Government instructions.
- For Management Category, candidates from All over India shall be eligible, irrespective of their State of domicile and place of study. iv. All candidates (General/SC/SC(Deprived)/BC-A/BC-B/Benchmark disabilities/EWS/ESM/FF) desirous of seeking admissions in any Category of seats should fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria/qualifications/qualifying criteria as prescribed in the information bulletin for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test(NEET) issued by NTA for the Academic year 2024-25 and as per regulations of National Medical Commission/Dental Council of India issued from time to time.
No candidate who has failed to obtain the minimum eligibility criteria (as specified in NEET UG-2024 Information Bulletin/NMC/DCI) shall be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS courses. Haryana NEET counselling is the gateway to admission for 85 per cent State Quota seats of MBBS and BDS.

As per the eligibility criteria of the Haryana NEET UG counselling, candidates fulfilling the following condition will be able to participate in the state counselling process:
- Candidates must have appeared and qualified for NEET
- Candidates belonging to states other than Haryana are also eligible to participate in the counselling process, but they will have to opt for the Management Quota or the NRI Quota
- Candidates must be domiciles of Haryana state
- In case they wish to apply through reserved quota, they must bear the necessary documents issued by the competent authority
- They must be fulfilling the NEET eligibility criteria.
Q: Â How can I fill choices in the Haryana NEET counselling process?
Only those candidates who have registered for the Haryana NEET counselling process will be able to fill and lock choices. After logging in, they will have to select Course from the dropdown menu. From there, they have to choose "College" and click on update button. After filling all choices, they have to press "Save" button. In the a printout of filled choices must be taken. Candidates can modify/add/delete choices as many times as they want till the closing time as per schedule.

Haryana NEET UG counselling is conducted in partially in online mode and offline mode. Except the last phase of counselling, which is the document verification, the rest of the rounds of the processes are conducted in online mode. DMER Haryana releases the counselling notices or the schedule and the seat matrix in an online mode, on the official website. The registration and choice filling processes also need to be done in online mode by visiting the official website of the exam. The merit list and the seat allotment result are also declared on the official website of the Haryana NEET counselling, in PDF format. The last and final step, which is the institute reporting, or the document verification, has to be done in offline mode, by visiting the allotted institute, or the venue stated by the counselling authority.
