INI-CET 2021: One PG entrance for admission to AIIMS, JIPMER, NIMHANS and PGI Chandigarh
AIIMS Delhi to conduct INI-CET 2021, a combined PG entrance test for admission to AIIMS, JIPMER, PGI Chandigarh and NIMHANS, on November 20. Basic registration process for INI-CET 2021 begins.
Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test (INI-CET), a new examination which will be conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS Delhi), has replaced the postgraduate entrance tests for many institutes. AIIMS Delhi, in an official notification released on September 29, announced that admission to PG courses of the following institutes will now be on the basis of the marks obtained in INI-CET:
- AIIMS Delhi
- JIPMER Puducherry
- NIMHANS Bangalore
- PGIMER Chandigarh
- AIIMS Bhopal
- AIIMS Bhubaneshwar
- AIIMS Jodhpur
- AIIMS Nagpur
- AIIMS Patna
- AIIMS Raipur
- AIIMS Rishikesh
Candidates must note that admission to DM, MCh, MD, MS and MDS courses offered by all the institutions will now be through the merit list of INI-CET. Effective from this year, AIIMS PG, JIPMER PG, PGIMER PG and NIMHANS PG exams stand cancelled.
AIIMS Delhi has also announced the dates for INI-CET 2021. Basic registration process for INI-CET 2021 has also begun. Candidates will have to register themselves on the official website of AIIMS Delhi to fill the INI-CET application form 2021.

INI-CET 2021: important Information
- Candidates who had registered for January 2019, July 2019, January 2020 and July 2020 sessions on the AIIMS website are not required to register again, provided their basic registration was accepted
- However, such candidates will have to complete the final registration process for INI CET 2021
- Candidates are not required to pay any fee during the basic registration process
- They can check the provisional status of the basic registration for INI CET 2021 from October 14
- Candidates whose basic registrations are rejected will be able to correct their applications up to October 17
