INI CET 2024 Exam Cheating

INI CET 2024 Exam Cheating Case: Uttarakhand Police has arrested two AIIMS Rishikesh doctors and three individuals for a cheating scam in the Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test for Doctor of Medicine (MD) exam, held by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on May 19, 2024.

Reportedly, two doctors including one from Haryana and another from Punjab are practising at AIIMS Rishikesh. The police arrested these two medicos among five on Sunday evening for facilitating cheating from a car near Barrage Road in Rishikesh, as reported by TOI.

Along with two medicos, Aman Shivach (24) of Rohtak, Haryana, Vipul Gaura (31) and Jayant (22) from Hisar, Haryana have been arrested for allegedly using an instant messaging app to solve the question paper at an exam centre in Himachal Pradesh, as reported by Medical Dialogues.

Allegedly, the three individuals have made a deal with three INI CET 2024 aspirants to help them solve the exam. For this, they promised to pay INR 2 lakh to each AIIMS Rishikesh doctor, allegedly involved in the cheating case.

Uttarakhand Police confiscated several mobile phones, INI CET books and a car where the incident took place. Delhi Police SSP, Ajai Singh further reported that the investigation is under process for any additional suspects involved in the INI CET 2024 cheating case.

Meanwhile, the NEET UG paper leak case is also under investigation. Supreme Court has recently passed the judgement to hear the PIL over alleged paper leak but the NEET results will not be put on hold.
