INI SS January 2024 Session: AIIMS releases schedule of Open Round for Institute Allocation

The candidate can register for the online "Open Round" by February 6, up to 5 pm at the official website - www.aiimsexams.ac.in.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences has announced the schedule of the Open Round for Institute Allocation against applied subjects for admission to DM/MCh/MD (Hosp. Admn.) courses of INIs for the January 2024 session. 

"The candidate may register for online “Open Round” latest by, 05:00 pm on Tuesday, 06th February 2024 on www.aiimsexams.ac.in," reads the official notification.

Online Exercising of choices for participation in Open Round of Institute allocation for admission to DM/MCh/MD (Hosp. Admin.) courses for the January 2024 session is from February 1, 2024, by 5 pm to February 6, 2024, by 5:00 pm. The result for allotment of institute against the applied subject in the Open Round will be out by February 9, 2024. The reporting and submission of documents is scheduled from 11:00 am on February 10, 2024, to February 17, 2024, up to 5:00 pm.

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria:

1. Candidates who have appeared in INI-SS for January 2024 session held on Saturday, the October 28, 2023 and obtained following will be deemed to be provisionally eligible (subject other criteria) to participate in the Open Round of Institute Allocation: -

a) All participating candidate having obtained 50% OR above marks are eligible for Open round of Institute allocation

b) Allocation of Institute will be done according to their merit in AML & CML.

c) Candidates who applied for General seats will be eligible only for General seats and those who applied for sponsored seats will be eligible only for sponsored seats. There will be no merging of seats from general to sponsored or sponsored to general.

d) Eligibility for AIIMS New Delhi & other AIIMS - Candidates should mandatorily be on AIIMS Merit List.

e) Candidates who are holding a seat at any Institute in the previous round are not eligible for this Open round.

2. The Sponsored & Foreign National candidates may also participate in the open round.

3. Any seat that remains unfilled in MD(Hospital Administration) will be converted as per following (Only in open round (if any)):-

1. EWS seats to UR

2. OBC Seats to UR

3. ST seats to SC and if still unfilled, to UR

4. SC seats to ST and if still unfilled, to UR

How to apply for INI SS January 2024 Open Round for Institute Allocation

Step 1: To Register go to www.aiimsexams.ac.in. 

Step 2: Select your desired course “DM/MCh/MD (Hosp. Admin.)” under “Academic Courses” tab and then click on the “Registration/Login” under General Links to proceed further to register.

Step 3: Enter your Candidate ID and Password to login.

Step 4: On “My Page” click on “Online Seat Allocation” link.

Step 5: Candidates have to register for open round of online seat allocation and fill choices as per the vacant seat position & Eligibility.

Step 6: It is also required to create new login credentials for those candidates who have not participated earlier in INI-SS January 2024, counselling.

Step 7: Candidates who have participated earlier may use old login credentials which were used in 01st, 02nd & 03rd round of counseling.

Step 8: The candidate will have to deposit an amount of Three Lakh (3.0 Lakh) in the account of Examination Section, AIIMS New Delhi through RTGS, NEFT or any other electronic Mode of payment. Account Holder Name is Accountas Officer(Exams), Account Number - 32212516154, and IFSC Code SBIN0001536 

Candidate must have to submit/attached the payment details as well as cancel cheque in online portal (My Page). No candidate will be considered for Open round counseling without prior willingness/registration, deposit of three Lakh (03.00 Lakh) & uploading of such payment receipts.

This is last round of Seat allocation and not further round of seat allocation will be conducted.
