J&K NEET counselling 2023: JKBOPEE to conduct mop up round today

The Board is conducting the Mop Up Round (Physical) for MBBS/BDS Courses - 2023 today, September 20, 2023. For all reserved category candidates with UT Rank from 01 to 3862, the time for registration/attendance at the J&K BOPEE Offices Jammu/Srinagar is between 8.30 a.m to 10.00 a.m today. For Open Merit, Reserve category and Hindu Minority (HM) candidates from UT Rank 01 to 1000, the timing is 10.00 a.m to 11.00 a.m today. From Rank 1001 to 3862 Open Merit, Reserve category including HM candidates (in ASCOMS), from 8:30 am to 10:30 am on September 21, 2023.

All the willing/eligible candidates were advised to check the seat matrix uploaded by the J&K BOPEE on its official website a day before start of the Mop Up Round of Counseling and in case the seat(s) of their choice are available, only then they should participate in the Mop Up round of counseling, reads the official statement. 

The candidates who have not been allotted any seat during the 1st/ 2nd rounds of counseling shall be eligible to participate in the mop-up round in terms of conditions contained in the e - Information Brochure. The candidates who have been allotted a seat during the 1st round of counseling and have joined the college but have not been upgraded during the 2nd round owing to less merit are allowed to participate in the mop-up round. Those candidate(s) who have been allotted seat during the 2nd round of counseling and have joined the College/Institution and want to participate in the mop-up round for purpose of up-gradation are also eligible to participate in the mop-up round. Further any candidate who has been allotted a seat during

First round of counseling but has not joined against the allotted seat/college shall also eligible for Mop up round. However, any candidate upgraded during the 2nd round of counseling shall under no circumstances be eligible to participate in the mop-up round.
