Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2024: Round 2 Seat Resignation Deadline Extended; CAP 3 Schedule Postponed
Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 round 2 counselling seat resignation deadline has been extended till January 8, 2024, in accordance with the extension of AIQ seat resignation by MCC for round 2 MD/ MS admissions.
The State Cell has extended the Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 seat resignation deadline for round 2 MD/ MS admission through a notification at the official website. Students who have been allotted a seat in the Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 round 2 counselling process and wish to vacate their allotted seat can surrender their seat by January 8, 2025. The authorities have extended the last date to vacate the seat owing to the extension of the MCC NEET PG seat resignation deadline for AIQ seats.
"In accordance with the MCC schedule, the last date to resign the Round 2 seat of state counselling is extended up to 08/01/2025." The official notification reads.
Maharashtra NEET PG Counselling 2024: CAP 3 Schedule Postponed
Meanwhile, the authorities have announced the postponement of the CAP 3 schedule. As per the notification, the Maharashtra NEET PG CAP 3 counselling schedule has been postponed till further notice.
"The schedule for CAP - 3 declared vide notice no .04 dated 14/11/2024 is postponed. The revised schedule will be published in due course. All concerned candidates and institutes should take note of the same." The official notification reads further.
Recently, the NEET PG 2024 seat resignation deadline has been re-extended by MCC till January 8, 2025, for students willing to vacate their allotted round 1 or round 2 seats. for admission to the MD/ MS programme. Students have to enter their login credentials to access the resignation window.

Yes, it is possible to participate in both Maharashtra NEET PG counselling as well as the national-level NEET PG or NEET MDS counselling process conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
