MCC issues notice for eligibility in NEET PG Counselling 2021 Mop-up round
After receiving multiple queries from candidates who are not able to participate in the fresh NEET PG Counselling 2021 Mop-up round, MCC has issued a notice regarding the eligibility for participation.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has issued a notice related to eligibility for participating in the fresh NEET PG Counselling 2021 Mop-up round.
The committee has said in its notification that it has received many queries from candidates who are not able to participate in the Fresh NEET PG Counselling 2021 Mop-up round which started on April 14, 2022.
MCC notification reads, "In this regard, it is mentioned that as per the directions of Honβble Supreme Court of India in W.P Β© No. 174 of 2022 Anjana Chari Vs. MCC & Ors. the candidates joined in Round-2, whether through All India Quota or State Quota will not be eligible to participate in Fresh Mop Up Round and subsequent rounds of AIQ."
"Accordingly, MCC of DGHS requested the DMEs of states to provide the list of Round-2 joined candidates of their respective states which is enclosed as under. Hence, the candidates of State Quota whose Roll No. is appearing in the list and the AIQ joined candidates are not eligible to participate in the ongoing Fresh Mop-Up Round," added the notification.
Steps to participate in NEET PG Counselling 2021 Mop-up round
Following are the steps, the candidates must follow to participate in the NEET PG Counselling 2021 Mop-up round:
- Check out the seat matrix to see the availability of seats in various medical colleges.
- Go to MCC's official website and fill out the online registration form.
- Enter the choices, and make the payment of fees for the NEET PG Counselling 2021 Mop-up round, if not paid earlier.
- Confirm your selection by checking the seat allocation results.
- Report to the allotted colleges.
