NEET PG 2024 round 3 seat allotment result 2024 was scheduled to be announced on January 4, 2025, the delay of which has made students anxious about the round 3 MD/ MS allotment for AIQ quota seats across India. 

NEET PG counselling 2024

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has delayed the NEET PG 2024 round 3 seat allotment result. The allocation list was expexcted to be announced on January 4, 2025 as per the MCC official schedule. However, the seat allotment result has been delayed and no clarification has been made regarding the NEET PG 2024 round 3 seat allotment date yet. The NEET PG aspirants who have participated in the round 3 counselling process have shared their displesure on the social media platform 'X' following the delay in announcement of results. 

NEET PG 2024 Latest News

Students can check the latest updates on NEET PG 2024 from below: 

  • MCC has re-extended the last date to vacate round 1 or round 2 seat deadline till January 14, 2025 (up to 6 PM). Students who are willing to vacate their allotted seats shall complete the resignation process before the deadline. 
  • MCC has opened the reset registration window for NEET PG counselling 2024 till January 15, 2025. Students who are willing to modify or update their registration details during the NEET PG counselling process can do so by January 15, 2025
  • The Apex Court has postponed the NEET PG 2024 SC hearing result transparency case to January 21, 2025. The hearing, which was scheduled for January 8 has been extended by the bench of Justices BR Gavai and AG Masih.

NEET PG 2024 Counselling Registration Soon

The NEET PG 2024 qualifying cutoff has been revised. Candidates who belong to the general category and EWS with percentile over and above 15 percentile while SC/ST with the cut off of over and above 10 percentile can apply for the counselling process. Consequently, MCC is expected to begin NEET PG 2024 fresh registration for admission to the MD and MS programme following the reduced cutoff. Students who are now eligible to participate in the counselling process due to the reduction in cutoff will get a chance to fill NEET PG 2024 counselling registration from mcc.nic.in.
