Admissions are open at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY) for Diploma in Yoga Science 2022-23, interested candidates can send applications latest by August 5, 2022, by 4:30 pm.

All interested candidates looking for admission to a Diploma in Yoga Science 2022-23 must know that admissions are open for the course at Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga (MDNIY).

The Ministry of Ayush tweet reads, "Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga invites applications for admission to Diploma in Yoga Science 2022-23."

The last date to submit the application form is August 5, 2022, and the date of the entrance exam is August 12.

"The selection list will be displayed only on the MDNIY Notice Board and uploaded on the institute’s website www.yogamdniy.nic.in. No personal information will be given to the candidates. The application form may also be downloaded from the institute’s website," says the official notification.

The merit list for the first counselling will be announced on August 16, and the first counselling session for admission at MDNIY, New Delhi will be on August 17 and August 18.

The merit list for the second counselling will be announced on August 19, and the second counselling session for admission at MDNIY New Delhi is on August 22 and 23, 2022.

Other Details

The eligibility requirement is a candidate possessing a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. However, it will be 45% for SC/ST candidates.

The candidate should not be more than 30 years as on August 1, 10 years of age relaxation for in-service candidates, who join the course on deputation through proper channel and 5 years of age relaxation for the candidates to the category of PwD.

The selection will be done on the basis of the entrance examination. The candidate securing 40% or above marks for General/OBC/EWS/Special categories and 35% or above marks for SC/ST/PwD in the entrance examination, will be considered for admission, on merit. The details of the mode of conducting the entrance test will be notified separately.
