However, the NTA has informed that no memoranda has been received in this regard, as per the reply given to the question put by BJP MP Lallu Singh. The examination will take place in 11 languages, including Hindi and English, in the Pen and Paper mode on August 1 of this year (Sunday).
Earlier, on March 10, 2021, NTA Director General Vineet Joshi had announced that NEET 2021 will be conducted once a year in offline mode. On March 12, 2021, NTA had announced that NEET 2021 Exam will be held on August 1, 2021.
Notably, on February 8, 2021, the Ministry of Health of the Union had given its node to conduct the examination twice, but the decision was stalled due to additional examination priorities. A meeting between the Ministry of Education and the NTA also discussed the issues which are pending and which were taken into account in the NEET applicants' requests, such as the introduction of online and offline examination modes and multiple sessions.
