NEET 2024 Application Correction Process to End Today

NEET 2024 application correction process is slated to end today, March 20, 2024, 11.50 PM. Candidates who have completed their NEET 2024 application form process, by paying the requisite application fee, are eligible to avail the correction facility. NTA has specified the fields which are available for edit or to make changes.

Candidates must note that this is not a compulsory activity. Only if someone has made a mistake while filling the NEET 2024 application form, or wishes to change certain information such as NEET question paper medium, or exam city choice or preferential order, etc. should utilize the NEET 2024 application correction facility.

How to Make Corrections in NEET 2024 Application Form

Candidates will have to follow the steps given below to edit or make corrections in the NEET 2024 application form.

  • Visit the official website of NEET 2024 – ntaonline.in
  • Login with NEET 2024 application number and password
  • Click on the tab ‘Complete Your Correction’ tab
  • Make the necessary changes provided the fields are editable and allowed for the candidates based on their Aadhaar verification status
  • Enter the Security Code and Click on Save & Next
  • Pay the updated application fee, if applicable
  • Download the updated Application Confirmation form

The list of fields which can be edited depends on the identity type chosen by candidates. In case a candidate has opted for Aadhaar Card, then certain fields are uneditable for them. On the other hand, the in case of selection of other identity types such as Voter ID Card or PAN Card or Passport or Driving License, the editable fields will be different.

Qualification and passing year – can be changed

For Aadhaar not Verified Candidates

Candidate's, Father’s and Mother’s Name – Any one of the names can be changed

Category – Candidates can change category and upload Category Certificate

Sub- Category (PwD) - Candidates can change sub-category (PwD) and upload Category Certificate

Date of Birth and Gender – Can be Changed

City and Medium – Can be Changed

Qualification Including Passing Year – Class 10 and Class 12

NEET 2024 will be conducted on May 5, 2024, from 2 PM to 5.20 PM in 568 cities across India and abroad. The application process was conducted from February 9 to March 16, 2024. Over 25 lakh candidates applied for the exam, which is the highest number so far.
