NEET 2024 Application: NTA Releases Advisory Regarding Aadhaar Number, Login and Correction
NTA has released an advisory regarding the NEET 2024 application process, especially regarding the Aadhaar Card Number. At present, NTA has disabled the login through Aadhaar Number. The NEET 2024 application process will end on March 9. The application correction window will be opened thereafter.
NTA Advisory on NEET 2024 Application Form for Aadhaar Number
The NEET 2024 application process is underway since February 9, and the last date for application is March 9. With the change in the NEET 2024 website URL and interface, candidates have been facing multiple difficulties in completing the application process or logging in.
One of the major technical snags applicants are facing while logging in through their Aadhaar Number, they are redirected to other candidates’ application profiles. At the same time, they are also receiving error messages while trying to log in through Aadhaar Number.
Taking into note of these issues, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has released advisory for NEET 2024 candidates in terms of Aadhaar Card. NTA has stated, “If you have encountered Aadhaar authentication or Data issues during registration, please log in using your Application Number and Password (Aadhaar login is disabled). Re-verify your Aadhaar and correct any errors.”
NTA has also advised candidates to enter their own Aadhaar number while applying for NEET 2024. Otherwise, it may lead to the cancellation of the candidature. “Candidates are strongly advised to use only their own AADHAAR for registration process as it would be used at various stages during the NEET UG 2024 process,” states NTA.
NEET 2024 Application: Technical Difficulties Faced by Candidates
The NEET 2024 applicants are facing difficulties in terms of uploading photographs and documents and during mobile number verification through OTP.

NTA NEET 2024 Helpline Number
NTA has provided the NEET 2024 Helpline Number and Email IDs where candidates are advised to email in case of any difficulty. The helpline numbers are 011-40759000 and 011-69227700. The email id is neet@nta.ac.in or neet1@nta.ac.in.
The NEET 2024 application correction window will be opened tentatively in the first week of April 2024. “A correction window shall open after the registration is completed for candidates who have completed payment and need to rectify information,” NTA mentions.
