However, in case, candidates come in cultural/ customary dress at the Examination Centre, they should report at least an hour before the last reporting time i.e. 12.30 pm so that there is enough time for proper frisking without any inconvenience to the candidate while maintaining the sanctity of the examination.
• Slippers, and sandals with low heels are permitted. Shoes are not permitted.
• In case of any deviation required due to unavoidable (medical, etc.) circumstances, specific approval of NTA must be taken before the Admit Cards are issued. 

Following photo identity cards or identity proofs will be accepted at the NEET 2024 exam centres:

• Class 12 Admit Card with photograph
• PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under PwBD category. 

Candidates must ensure that they bring their original identity card and the date must be valid (in case of passport or Driving License). 

Candidates appearing for the examination must ensure that they do not have any of the following items on them on the exam day.

• Stationery items such as test-based material (written/printed), papers, notes, Pencil box, pouches, geometry box, pen, scale/ruler, eraser, etc.
• Electronic devices such as calculators, cameras, electronic pens, scanners, etc.
• Accessories such as bags, belts, caps, goggles, wallets, etc.
• Devices used for communication such as mobile phones, smart watches, Bluetooth, fitness bands, earphones, pager, etc.
• Any ornaments (both metallic/non-metallic) such as earrings, nose pins, piercings, etc.
• Eatables (packed or home-cooked), thermos, etc.
• Candidates who are suffering from Diabetes can carry sugar tablets, fruits (such as bananas, apples, oranges, etc.) and a transparent water bottle. However, such candidates must have filled in the required information in their NEET 2024 application form.

Candidates have to carry the following documents to the NEET 2024 exam centre.

• NEET 2024 Admit Card along with passport-size photograph affixed on it;
• One passport-size photograph is to be affixed to the Attendance Sheet.
• Valid Original Identity proof, PwBD certificate, if applicable.

5. It is mandatory to undergo security procedures, such as body scanners and frisking. Candidates are thus advised to cooperate with the security personnel present at the exam centre.
6. Candidates who intend to use a scribe must carry a ‘Letter of Undertaking’ to the exam centre.
7. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before 5:20 pm
8. All those appearing for the examination must note that the attendance sheet has to be signed twice, the first time right after the examination begins and the second time while handing over the answer sheet. Any candidate who fails to sign twice will be considered absent.

No, it is not necessary to carry the NEET 2024 city intimation slip to the exam centre. Even if you carry it to the centre, you will not be able to take the document inside the exam hall as it would be considered as an additional paper or document.
