NEET 2024 Retest Begins for 1563 Candidates; NTA Changes 6 Centres

NEET 2024 Re-exam Begins on June 23, 2024, at 2 PM
NEET 2024 retest has begun on June 23, 2024, at 2 PM. The total duration of the exam is three hours and 20 minutes, and hence, it will conclude at 5.20 PM. As many as 1,563 candidates are slated to appear for the exam. However, since this exam is optional, not all candidates who were awarded grace marks are appearing for the NEET 2024 re-examination.
According to an NDTV report, six exam centres, which hosted NEET 2024 on May 5, have been changed. One such centre is located in Haryana’s Jhajjar, from which six test takers scored a perfect 720. Moreover, officials from the National Testing Agency (NTA) and Education Ministry will also be present at each centre to monitor the process and ensure the fair conduct of the exam.

The NEET 2024 question papers are available in 13 languages, namely, English, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Assamese, Odia, Punjabi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam.
The result of the NEET 2024 retest will be declared on June 30, 2024. NTA will release a revised scorecard for all 1,563 candidates irrespective of their appearance in the NEET re-exam 2024. The scorecard will consist of the scores obtained in the retest, and for those who did not appear, their original scores, devoid of grace marks will be issued. In either case, the previous test’s scorecard issued on June 4, 2024, will be cancelled.
