Some of the candidates are still facing trouble while downloading the NEET 2024 admit card from www.exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. They are either unable to login, or their photograph or signature is not uploaded.

Candidates will have to visit the following websites of NTA NEET to download the NEET 2024 admit card:

• www.neet.ntaonline.in

If a candidate is unable to download the NEET 2024 admit card even after the release, candidates will have to contact the NTA Helpline Number between 10:00 am to 05.00 pm or write an email to NTA at neet@nta.ac.in. 

As per the instructions given by NTA regarding the NEET 2024 admit card, candidates will have to sign on the admit card in the space provided in the presence of the invigilator. In case a candidate signs the admit card in advance, then they should discard it and take another printout of the document and paste the photographs and get it signed by his/her parents. Candidates will have to check the instructions again and follow the Dos and Don’ts carefully to avoid such unwarranted mistakes. Test-takers are advised to keep a couple of extra copies of the NEET admit card along with photographs and pens so that they can use those if they discover that they have signed in advance.

Following photo identity cards or identity proofs will be accepted at the NEET 2024 exam centres:

• Voter ID Card
• Aadhaar Card
• Passport
• Driving License
• PAN Card
• Ration Card
• Class 12 Admit Card with photograph
• PwBD certificate issued by the Competent Authority, if claiming the relaxation under the PwBD category. 

Candidates must ensure that they bring their original identity card and the date must be valid (in the case of a passport or Driving License).

Candidates will have to carry the following documents to the NEET 2024 exam centre:

• NEET 2024 Admit Card along with passport-size photograph affixed on it;
• One passport-size photograph is to be affixed to the Attendance Sheet.
• Valid Original Identity proof, and PwBD certificate, if applicable.
• One Post Card Size (4”X6”) colour photograph with a white background should be pasted on the Self Declaration Undertaking or proforma downloaded with the NEET Admit Card 2024 and should be handed over to the Invigilator at the centre.

Note: Candidates who will not bring the downloaded proforma with a postcard size (4”X6”) photograph pasted and one passport-size photograph will not be allowed to sit in the examination which shall lead to his/her disqualification.

Candidates need to follow the instructions given below at the NEET 2024 exam centre:

• Candidates have to report to the NEET exam centre at the 'reporting time' mentioned on the admit card.
• The last entry into the NEET 2024 exam centre hall will be at 1.30 pm.
• They should not carry prohibited items such as geometry/ pencil box, calculator, log table, slide ruler, any paper or textual material, bags, electronic items, mobile phones, etc.
• Test-takers are not allowed to carry any eatables inside the NEET exam centre. However, diabetic students are allowed to carry fruits/ sugar tablets.
• Candidates should leave the NEET test centre one by one and must wait for their turn to avoid crowding outside the centre
• Candidates are also advised to visit the NEET exam centre 2024 a day before the examination to avoid delays on the exam day and to get familiar with the location.

The NEET 2024 admit card may have the following types of mistakes which candidates must carefully scrutinise:

• Name as a whole or printing/spelling mistake
• Application Number may be different
• Photograph or signature may be of someone else's
• Personal information such as gender, category, date of birth or PWBD status may be different
• The medium of the NEET 2024 question paper may be different.

In case there is wrong information in terms of personal details, which varies from the photo identity card, then it must be corrected to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the exam. For this, they need to send the NEET 2024 admit card and the original details along with the valid documents to NTA. Regular follow-ups have to be done till the time the rectified admit card of NEET 2024 is issued.

After releasing the NEET 2024 admit card, candidates may face server errors due to a large number of visitors to the website. It is advised not to lose patience and keep trying. They may also try to open the website on an incognito window. If it still does not work, they should contact NTA on its Helpline Numbers or send an email on weekdays, between 10 AM and 5 PM. 

In case a candidate has forgotten the NEET 2024 application number, he/she has to follow the process given below to retrieve it:

• Visit the official website of NTA NEET - neet.ntaonline.in 
• Click on “Forgot Registration Number”.
• Enter Name, mother’s name, father’s name, category, date of birth, and security pin.
• The NEET registration number will be available on the screen.

In case NTA does not send the updated or rectified NEET admit card 2024 till the day of the exam, candidates should not fret about it. NTA did not announce the exact number of NEET 2024 exam centres. Last year, the total number of exam centres was 4,097. This year, the number of centres is expected to be higher. The estimated number of NEET exam centres 2024 is over 5,000.

NTA will not issue the NEET 2024 admit card under the following scenarios:

No, once the NEET 2024 admit card is released, it will not be possible to change the exam centre allotted to candidates. NTA will try its best to allot the centre in the city of their preference. By now, candidates have also been informed about the city where the centre would be located through the advance intimation of the exam city. In case the city is not as per their preference, they are suggested to contact the NTA Helpline in advance to get the city changed. However, NTA will not change the exam city or centre under any circumstances. 

There is no mandate about printing the NEET 2024 admit card in coloured ink. What is important is that the photograph and signature are clearly visible and the text is legible. 

The validity of the NEET admit card is one year. Candidates should preserve the admit card of NEET 2024 till the counselling process is over.

Candidates are advised to carry at least two copies of the NEET 2024 admit card printout. One of the copies will have to be submitted to the invigilator. The other one has to be preserved with the test taker. 

If a candidate forgets to carry the NEET admit card 2024, he/she will not be allowed entry inside the exam hall. In such a situation, candidates can ask their family/acquaintances to bring the admit card to the centre if time permits. As per reports based on NTA official's quotes, NEET 2024 has received over 23 lakh applications by March 16, which was the last date for application. However, NTA reopened the application process again in April for a day and it is expected that the total number of applicants is around 25 lakh. Accordingly, the estimated number of test takers will be 20 lakh or more across India and abroad.
