NEET Counselling 2023 Round 2: MCC withdraws 15 MBBS seats
MCC has announced the withdrawal of 15 MBBS seats from the NEET counselling 2023 round 2 seat matrix.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS has withdrawn as many as 15 MBBS seats from round 2 of NEET counselling 2023 after receiving information from the Government Medical College, Karauli, for the removal of 15 MBBS seats.
The following seats are removed from the NEET counselling 2023 round 2 seat matrix:
"Candidates are advised to take a calculated decision of continuing in Third round of AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities as they would not be permitted to resign from 3rd round of AIQ/Deemed/Central Universities. They will also not be allowed to participate in any Counseling after joining in Third Round of AIQ. There will be Data sharing between Centre and the States and if any candidate has his name in the list of allotted candidates in either of the lists,
then such name of such candidates shall be eliminated from the All India Stray Vacancy Round," says the revised Information Bulletin.
The MCC/DGHS will be doing Counseling for 15% AIQ, 100% Deemed Universities, Central Universities (Delhi University, AMU & BHU including Institutional/ Domicile Quota), ESIC, AFMC (only Registration Part) &I.P University (VMMC & SJH AND ABVIMS & RML& ESIC Dental, Delhi (15% AIQ + 85% Institutional Quota ) 100% AIIMS, 100% JIPMER and B.Sc. Nursing (only Central Institutes).
The role of MCC of DGHS is limited to allotment of seats to the participating candidates, as per their merit and choice, which starts only after receiving the list/data/Information of successful candidates from National Testing Agency i.e. the NEET (UG) examination conducting body.
