NEET MDS 2024 Application: NBE Slashes Exam Fees, Cities

NEET MDS 2024 application form and information brochure were released on January 30. This year, NBE has reduced the application fee by INR 750. The total number of exam city has also been reduced from 76 to 56. On the other hand, five cities have been added to the list, which was not there last year. Know the details here.

NEET MDS 2024 application process began on January 30. The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has reduced the NEET MDS 2024 application fee and the number of exam cities as compared to last year. The NEET MDS application fee, which was INR 4,250 for the Open category candidates till last year, has been reduced to INR 3,500. On the other hand, the total number of exam cities has been reduced from 76 to 56.

The below table brings the category-wise NEET MDS application fee or exam fee for last year and this year.

The amount has been reduced by INR 750, accounting to approximately 18 per cent.  

NEET MDS 2024 Exam Cities – List of Cities Removed

As many as 20 cities have been removed from the list of exam cities for NEET MDS 2024. The list of cities which has been removed this year are given below:

Meanwhile, as many as five cities have been added to the list as well, which are, Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Dhanbad (Jharkhand), Haldwani (Uttarakhand), Rourkela (Odisha) and Sikar (Rajasthan).

NEET MDS 2024 will be conducted on March 18, 2024 in a single day and slot. Although originally the exam was slated to be held on February 9, which has been postponed. The application process is underway and will end on February 19, 2024.
