NEET PG 2023 cut-off percentile reduced to Zero across categories
Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Policy has considered the doctors associations' demand to reduce the NEET PG 2023 cut-off percentile and made everyone eligible for the remaining rounds of counselling.
On the request to reduce the NEET PG 2023 cut-off percentile, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Department of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Policy has said that now the NEET PG 2023 cut-off is reduced to Zero across categories. Everyone will now be eligible for the remaining rounds of counselling.
"I am directed to refer to the above mentioned subject and to say that the recommendation for reduction in qualifying percentile for post graduate courses for 2023 (NEET-PG 2023) has been considered in the Ministry. Approval of competent authority is hereby conveyed for reduction of qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2023 to Zero across all categories," said the official statement of the inistry of Health and Family Welfare.
"As promised, the good news is here! We welcome the decision of @MoHFW_INDIA to make everyone eligible for the remaining rounds of counselling for NEETPG2023. Thank you @mansukhmandviya @OfficeOf_MM @ianilradadiya Best of luck to students!," tweeted FORDA India.
"Finally !NEET PG CUT OFF =ZERO!A Big Relief for Private college politicians who are demanding 2-3 crores only for #NEETPG2023 seat !," reads a tweet.
"If zero percentile is the cut off for #NEETPG2023 then we might as well stop conducting this exam henceforth. What purpose does it serve? Why not use average % of MBBS for admission to PG then? By this way people will save exam money and all mental trauma of going through #NEET," said another tweet.
Many doctorsβ associations including IMA and DMC were demanding to reduced NEET PG 2023 cut-off percentile.
