NEET PG 2023 special stray vacancy round for vacant seats likely to start on Nov 17
The deadline to apply for NEET PG 2023 special stray vacancy round is November 22, 2023, as tweeted by FAIMA Chairman Dr Rohan Krishnan. There is still no official confirmation on this round.
Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is expected to start the NEET PG 2023 special stray vacancy round for vacant seats on November 17, 2023.
As per a tweet shared by FAIMA Chairman Dr Rohan Krishnan, the registration process for special stray vacancy round All India Quota/Deemed/Central/PG-DNB/State Quota will end on November 25, 2023, for state counselling the registration will be held between November 25 to November 28, 2023. The last date to join the colleges for both Central and State counselling is November 30, 2023.
As per the tentative schedule of the special stray vacancy round of NEET PG counselling for NEET 50% AIQ and 100% Deemed/Central Universities/AFMS/PG/PG DNB seats, the fresh registration and payment are scheduled between November 17 to November 22, choice filling and choice locking will be held between November 18 to November 22. The result is expected to be out on November 24, 2023. The reporting will be held between November 25 to November 30, 2023.
One of the tweet reads, "Although After the qualifying percentile for NEET-PG admission to leftover PG seats was reduced to zero. There are 1445 seats remains vacants .. Government is going to consider for Another Special Round of Counseling !!."
Moreover, the Supreme Court issued a notice to the officials on a plea that sought directions for an extension of NEET PG counselling to fill the unclaimed and vacant seats. Now the government has formed a panel to review reasons for why there are 1,445 medical PG seats in India remaining vacant after counselling.
