NEET PG 2023: Submit docs for JKBOPEE MD, MS Courses 2023 by Aug 25
Whose names are figuring in the Provisional Merit List (PML) issued by JKBOPEE notice on August 7, 2023, and who are seeking admission to MD/MS Courses 2023, under Minority and NRI Quota, documents need to be submitted by August 25, 2023 till 3 pm.
For admission to MD/MS Courses 2023 offered by the J&K Board of Professional Entrance Examination under Minority and NRI Quota, the selected candidates need to submit their documents between August 22 to August 25, 2023.
"It is notified for the information of eligible candidates of NEET PG-2023 whose names are figuring in the Provisional Merit List (PML) issued by the Board vide Notification No. 052-BOPEE of 2023 dated 07-08-2023 and who are interested for admission in MD/MS Courses 2023 in ASCOMS β Jammu under Hindu Minority and NRI Quota under to submit their relevant documents on the prescribed proforma at the BOPEE Offices Srinagar/Jammu w.e.f. August 22, 2023 to August 25, 2023 (till 03:00 P.M)," says the official notification.
The number of seats/disciplines for MD/MS course as available in ASCOMS-Jammu under Hindu Minority / NRI Quota (already uploaded on website of BOPEE):
- Hindu Minority Quota Seats = 13
- NRI Seats = 05
JKBOPEE MD, MS Courses 2023: Eligibility for NRI Seats
Category No. 1: - Whereas an applicant himself /herself is NRI and family originally belongs to the UT of J&K.
Category No. 2: - Children/wards of NRI, who originally belongs to the UT of J&K.
Further, the documents required for NRI Category 1 and 2 are as under:
Category No. 1:
(i) NEET PG-2023 Score Card;
(ii) NRI certificate issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India or Indian Embassy Overseas under Ministry of External Affairs with holding of Indian Passport;
(iii) Copy of NRI Bank Account preferably in the country where the candidate is residing or of NRI Account in India;
(iv) Copy of Indian Passport;
(v) Copy of Income Tax Return filed in India, if any;
(vi) PAN Card, if any; and
(vii) Domicile Certificate of the candidate.
(viii) Any other document as may be required by the Board for its satisfaction.
Category No. 2:
(i) NEET PG-2023 Score Card;
(ii) NRI Sponsorship Letter;
(iii) Undertaking of NRI duly attested by the legal authority of that country where sponsor is residing or Indian Embassy Overseas;
(iv) Bank Statement of the Sponsor;
(v) Resident/National Certificate or NRI certificate of the sponsor;
(vi) Pedigree Table/Family Tree establishing relationship of the candidate with the sponsor along with documentary Proof;
(vii) Employment certificate of the sponsor;
(viii) PAN Card, if any of the sponsor;
(ix) PAN Card, if any of the candidate/parents;
(x) Copy of Income Tax Return filed, if any;
(xi) Domicile Certificate of the candidate.
The candidate applying under Hindu Minority Quota shall be required to produce a certificate from the Competent Authority that he/she belongs to the Hindu Minority (HM) Community.
