NEET PG 2024: An announcement on the NEET PG 2024 results is anticipated shortly. By logging in with their registration number and password, candidates can view their results on the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) official website. NEET PG cut-off trend
After the conclusion of counseling, the Union Health Ministry announced in December 2023 that there were 247 open PG medical seats. Medical organizations and NEET PG applicants petitioned the NMC to reduce the cut-off percentile by ten to fifteen points due to the large number of empty seats. A thirty percent cut was recommended by the Indian Medical Association (IMA) to fill open positions in clinical and non-clinical courses. The NMC recommended that the qualifying percentile for NEET PG 2023 be set to "zero" for all categories. This suggestion was accepted by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on September 20. The NEET PG cut-off from the year prior, before its adjustment, is shown below.

When did the test take place?
Instead of the customary one-shift structure, the NEET PG 2024 exam was administered in two shifts on August 11. Two shifts were worked: the first from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and the second from 3:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. 2,28,540 candidates in all took the exam this year, which was administered in two shifts at 416 venues spread over 170 cities throughout the country.
The board published a notice shortly after the NEET PG 2024 tests were over, outlining the normalization process used by the medical exam board to prepare the results. The date of the NEET PG 2024 tentative answer keys' publication, however, has not been verified by the board. It is recommended that candidates monitor the official website while they wait for the tentative answer keys. They can download the NEET PG 2024 answer keys by following the simple instructions provided below as soon as they become available.

Q: Β Does NBE reduces NEET PG cut off in any case?
Yes. NBE reduces NEET PG cut off in case seats remain vacant after counseling rounds. Reducation of cut off makes more number of candidates eligible to participate in the counselling who were earlier ineligible due to low score. For 2023-24 session, NBE had reduced cut off to zero for all category. For 2022-23 session, the cut off was reduced by 25 percentile for each category. Q: Β Who releases cut off for NEET PG?
National Board of Examinations (NBE) releases cut off for NEET PG. It must be noted the cut off is releases along with NEET PG result. Candidates have to score minimum cut off to qualify for the exam. The minimum cut off is different for different category. For the general category, the minimum qualifying cut off is 50 percentile marks while for SC/ST, the qualifying cut off is 40. The cut off depends on a number of factors including the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates appeared etc.
