NEET PG Counselling 2024: MCC Specifies Stray Vacancy Round Eligibility Criteria for PG Medical Admissions

NEET PG 2024 stray vacancy round eligibility criteria have been released by MCC at mcc.nic.in. Meanwhile, as per the NEET PG revised counselling schedule, the choice filling and locking process will be conducted between February 13 to 16, 2025. 

NEET PG Counselling 2024

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has released the NEET PG 2024 stray vacancy round eligibility criteria for PG medical admissions. The authorities have released the guidelines for students willing to participate in the stray vacancy counselling round. As per the notification, students who do not hold any seat in AIQ or state quota are eligible to participate in the counselling process for the stray vacancy round. 

Meanwhile, those who join their seats allotted through MCC in Round 3 are ‘Not Eligible’ to participate in the MCC NEET PG 2024 Stray Vacancy Round counselling 2024. However, ‘Not Reported’ candidates of Round 3 of MCC counselling can participate in state PG counselling. Besides, those who have joined the state quota PG medical seat through previous rounds are not eligible to participate in the Stray Vacancy Round NEET PG 2024 Counselling process.

The authorities have further notified that the security deposit of candidates who do not join their allotted seat in the Stray Vacancy Round will be forfeited and that candidate will be disallowed from appearing for the entrance examination in the subsequent year. Moreover, the details of joined candidates will be shared with state counselling authorities and those candidates will be debarred from appearing for the subsequent rounds of counselling.
