NEET 2022 was conducted on July 17, 2022, and the candidates have been waiting for the NEET result 2022 which is scheduled to be announced on September 7, read here to know about what things to do after the results are declared.

National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET 2022 answer key on August 30 and the NEET result 2022 will be out by September 7. The candidates have been eagerly waiting for the result to be declared and counselling to begin.

Things to follow after NEET 2022 result:

Here are the 5 things to follow after the NEET results 2022 are declared:

1. Download the scorecard and print it - To check the scorecard, the candidate needs to visit the official website neet.nta.nic.in, navigate to the 'View Result' tab, enter roll number password or date of birth and security pin and once the scorecard gets displayed, download and print it.

2. Check your scores and ranks to estimate your medical admission chances using the Shiksha College Predictor tool. The page for the ‘NEET College Predictor is - https://www.shiksha.com/medicine-and-health-sciences/neet-college-predictor.

3. Know the NEET cutoff scores and be prepared for the counselling process.

4. Decide states in which you want to participate in the NEET state counselling process.

5. Shortlist alternate courses you want to pursue other than MBBS - the undergraduate courses that come under NEET other than MBBS and BDS are Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicines and Surgery (BHMS), Bachelor of Siddha Medicines and Surgery (BSMS), Bachelor of Unani Medicines and Surgery (BUMS), and BPT Physiotherapy.

Once you will get admission to medical college, life will be more hectic with studies and clinical training, so this is a great time to unwind yourself, maybe pursue some hobby for some time like playing music, reading books, sketching, maybe visiting some meditation centre.
